You all know Mom is expecting a new tablerunner for each holiday, and the 4th of July is no exception. I just finished sewing down the binding earlier this morning.
The pattern is a wonky, free-cut pattern. I took pictures of all the steps so that I could post a tutorial at a later date. This is a great way to stack and wack a pile of fabrics and if you don't want the patriotic motif, you can use 11 different prints and each section will be a different color (and you will have 11 finished quilt blocks!
The blocks were machine quilted with a stipple pattern and the border with a double cable. I also stitched in the ditch along the inside border. To save time, I used clear thread.
