Gourmet Iced Coffee Recipe
There is nothing more refreshing than an iced drink during the hot days of summer. So, here is a recipe that you can make that will last for up to four days (if you don't drink it all up by then!)
Fill a 2-qt. container with ice, 3/4 full. If you are using a glass container, please be sure to let the coffee cool down before adding to the ice to avoid an accident!
Pour over the ice a fresh pot of 12 cups of very strong coffee. If you want to use decaffeinated, go ahead. For a nice change, use flavored coffee, such as French vanilla.
Add 1 can (12 to 14 oz.) of sweetened condensed milk. Add up to 2 tbsp. of real vanilla or vanilla extract.
Mix well and chill. Yummy for the tummy! :)
