WOW! What an active bunch of ladies are we? Lots of finished challenge pieces and a few other goodies were just the eye candy we needed to welcome spring!
The first two pictures are items brought in by Sue. The jeans apron is a great way to recycle and add a bit of whimsy! Sue said it was made by her mother, Hannah, and she plans to find some children's jeans to make smaller aprons. Whatever size, a truly novel idea.
Sue also shared her completed "Fun and Done" project from our workshop. They are like a bag of potato chips--I bet you can't make only one!
Lastly, Carole shared her completed wall hanging, "Simplicity", to be donated to the PTQG Silent Auction. As always, Carole, your eye for color and quilting is bar none.
As you know, our challenge projects were due April 1st, so we had lots of finished wall hangings to look at. Everyone of them is different to the maker and it was fun to see how each of us used our creative license to make these one-of-a-kind! Here are the makers and names of the wall hangings:
Liette-"Scrappy Hearts"
Janney--"Black And White And Red All Over"
Jo--"China Blue"
Sue--"Spring Hearts"
Diane--"Chocolate Hearts"
Sharon--"Heart And Soil"
Charlotte--"Pick Me"
Giselle has named her project "Welcome Home" and Carole's is "Heart Bouquet"
