If you never have made a GFG (Grandmother's Flower Garden) or other hexagon-type quilt, here is the site for you. A handy take-along projects, hexagons, unlike yo-yos, pretty much make themselves! A few here, a few there, and you have yourself a quilt!
Be sure to check out the free patterns and also the handy hexagon cutting guide for making a more structure quilt using particular colors (this is on page 3 of the free design sheets).
I'm going to make the "Basic Bloomers" pattern. This is not one of the free downloads, but if you look under the pattern section and click on "more details", they pretty much give you all the information you will need to know to make the quilt without it. However, purchasing the pre-cut papers will certainly save you time and patience when piecing!
