As promised, here is a quick and easy tute for this block. You are using 6 1/2" blocks cut in half and one 1 1/2" x 10 1/2" center strip.
When viewing this tute, don't use the slide show method. It will not give you the directions that are in the caption under each picture. You might have to scroll down you page a tad to see it, depending on your computer viewing area. So, click on the first picture showing the two different triangles and then click the "next" button on the upper right hand corner of the page when you want to progress.
Since so many of you were interested in this pattern, it might be fun to exchange blocks, either using a standard color for the center strip (mine were cream on cream) or perhaps just a nice scrappy look. Let me know if you are interested and I can forward the guidelines and we can pick a date to have the blocks completed.
