Grand Opening for Quilter's Oasis

Several members of Classic Quilters took the opportunity to visit the latest in quilting workshops and retreats on a country lane in Wales.

Suffice to say the new facility is beautifully decorated and oozing with warmth and comfort. The bunk house begs for a sleepover party of ladies, wine and chocolate. The well-lit workroom offers classes or the ability to come and sew on your latest project with a group of like-minded ladies.

Their first event, "Apple-Umpkin" Weekend will be held on Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 12th & 13th and Oct. 10th & 11th from 9-5 for a fee of $35.00 per day. The Saturday sessions will offer a delight of pumpkin muffins and coffee, a lunch of soup and sandwiches and an afternoon delight of a selection of three different pumpkin desserts and coffee. Bring along your UFO and enjoy sewing while you relax with the ladies. The Sunday events will offer apple as the focus of their yummy treats. Reservations are necessary as they can only offer 12-15 slots per day. Payment is due at that time. As more events are announced, I will be sure to keep you updated.
