Show and Tell Sept. 30th

Lots to show off at tonight's meeting. The first picture is of Connie showing off her beautiful applique block--one of several she has finished for her future queen-size quilt. It's going to be a stunner for sure!

Carole is holding up the Project Linus quilt hand sewn with applique stars that was sewn during the Shaker Village demostration this past Saturday. Just add the bright orange border and it will be ready for batting, backing and quilting. This is going to make one child very happy!

The "Christmas Apple" is so cheery in patchwork shades of red. This is Carole's latest project, and is just a great pattern for a pillow, small wall hanging or candle mat. If you wish, just add a bit of appliqued holly and berries to add more of a festive holiday mood! Carole was good enough to bring in enough patterns for everyone, but if you were not at the meeting and would like a copy, please contact her.

Ethel is focused on Halloween with her wall hanging and table runner, both aptly named "Trick-or-Treat". The window wall hanging was made for her great-grandson, Bradley, who will turn one in November. The ghostly table runner gives just the right amount of "boo" factor to any table. Perfect for that table in the entry way that holds your Halloween decorations AND candy.
