Not-to-be-missed event!

The High Street Congregational Church, 106 Pleasant St., Auburn will be holding their 8th Annual Fabric and Craft Supply Fair on Saturday, April 19th from 9-1.

If you have not attended, you are missing out on a fabric frenzy! Between my mother and myself, I made eight trips to the car! Not only was the fabric at super prices (apparently some people think the one with the most fabric doesn't win!), but I got a ton of rulers, templates, graph paper, quilting books and patterns at a steal. I knew it was going to be a good day for me when the first thing I spotted when walking in was a large basket filled of fat quarters and offered the seller $3 for the bunch and she jumped at it. Ladies, I got over 30 pieces of fabric from that deal alone.

Not only do they have the sellers tables, but also items donated to the church to sell for themselves. These also are super bargains when you can fill a bag of fabric for a few bucks. Lots of sewing trims, threads, buttons--and tons of yarn.

If you plan to attend, be there early for the best parking and expect to wait in line to get it. This is not the sale to bring in children or the elderly--you want to be in good shape to be able to haul armfuls of fabric. So, no time like the present to get those weights out of the box and start those crunches...
