Latest finished quilt projects

Our first finished project is from Giselle. She named her quilt "Ma Belle" and it is for a special baby of a dear friend. You think by looking at it that the pattern is complicated, but she says it is easy to make and will share the pattern with whoever would like it. I commented that the blue and yellow shades lend to our current challenge project, but she lamented that she didn't have a lot of fabric left at the end of the quilt.

I am proud to say that after one free motion quilting class at Cote's on Saturday, I completed a baby quilt for a vendor I work with on Sunday, packaged and mailed to baby Alyssa (#4 girl of the family!) on Monday. Mom had requested pinks and purples in the ballerina theme. It was made in flannel with cotton batting and machine quilted. "Pink Toes" is a perfect name of this quilt!
