A big thank you to Ethel and Albert (oh yes, and Cinnamon!) for opening up their home to all of us for the annual event. Yummy ice cream, cookies and other treats were enjoyed by all!
We were thrilled to receive our ribbons from the "Classic Garden" quilt and share our latest projects. I'm sure we could also like to thank Sagaree's dear mother, Poree for the lovely handmade bookmarks. They will be treasured reminders of our new friendships.
We had two other topics discussed at length--
One was the date of our holiday party. It was decided to hold it after Christmas and a date of Tuesday, January 4th was chosen. I booked Marco's for 6:00 p.m. Of course, we will have our "famous" Yankee swap and perhaps a few games to play! ;)
The second item discussed was an article in the upcoming McCall's Quilting magazine about copyright laws, blogs and quilt shows. If you don't get this magazine, just pick one up and read the article. I would post it here but I might get arrested.
