Tuesday's Show and Tell

All I can say is WOW! What a group of finished projects in one night! Let's see if I can get all the information straight...

The first wall hanging is the challenge project by Monique named "Octoberfest". She is into snowmen, so this will be a welcomed addition to her already extensive collection!

Giselle is into purse making--these two are for her daughter. She has offered to put on a workshop for us in the near future.

Sagree brought is a quilt top with the blues from her father's shirts to mark his retirement, aptly named "Oceanography".

Sue also completed her challenge project, "Autumn Leaves". A wonderful and creative way to turn the leaves.

Ethel's donation to the PTQG auction is "Trillium"--unfortunately the photo doesn't show the details. But do notice the trademark bee in the upper left hand corner.

"Enchanted" is the name of Carole's completed peacock quilt. We all commented on the use of the jewels to make the quilt pop. If you ever get tired of this quilt, please remember I could use one for MY bedroom.

Last, but certainly not least, Denise shared her challenge project named "Falling Leaves." What a cute use of leave buttons in the border!

Two corrections were brought up at the meeting--

First, on the heart pillows for the Dempsey center, you CAN use red after all.

Second, it was brought to my attention that in my last post the link wasn't working. It has been corrected. Let me know if you have any issues with the blog so I can address it immediately--don't wait until you see me at the meeting. I hate to post something only you have you not be able to access it--that wouldn't be very fun, would it?
