The first picture is of Connie's challenge project, "Struting Tom." Did I hear a gobble, gobble?? Isn't it adorable?
Many hands make light for work with us all pulling together and hand sewing the blocks together. Next week we will work on the border! Beautiful, isn't it? Of course, it's from a very talented group of ladies!
The heart pillow is a project for The Patrick Dempsey Center for Cancer Hope and Healing at CMMC. Carole passed out patterns at the meeting for anyone who wanted to participate. There are only a few rules:
**Do not make in RED
**You can put anything in the center. Applique an angel, heart or even use a patchwork block
**You may quilt it if you wish
**Return to Carole unstuffed
If you have any questions, give Carole a call for more information. We will be working on lap quilts at a later date.
On the post for the Zig Zag quilt, the link is no longer carrying the pattern. I have, however, reached out to the HGTV gals and they supplied me with a pattern. If you want it, just email me. It teaches us a valuable lesson--if you see it, save it to your computer. Here today, gone tomorrow!
