Recently at one of our meetings Denise, Janney and I were discussing the use of selvages to make quilts, bowls, etc. Here is a link to check out how to use for making a quilt. By using them to make string blocks, you won't need to collect a ton of them before you can begin to sew the blocks. Of course, if you have just a few, you can alternate blocks with solid blocks of the colors from the selvages or ask a friend to save hers for you.
