Things always happen for a reason, and I cannot even fathom a better excuse for a party than the winter we have had to endure! I don't know about you ladies, but I have had enough.
Linda Nickos and I have finally connected (unfortunately, the pictures of her quilt didn't), and she asked if I could post the new date for her holiday party:

You are planning to attend, please RSVP by Feb. 9th or so that she can make sure she has enough chairs. Linda will be serving all kinds of goodies, so all she asks is that we bring along our sewing projects, pictures and our appetites! She did mention a quilt shop nearby that we can visit when in the area. Linda also gave me revised directions to ensure we all arrive easily. Car pooling is always a good idea, so offer a fellow club member a ride if you have room in your car. There is no snow date for this event, so keep those fingers crossed that we will have a good day for our trip.
Here are the directions:
Come North on Rt. #1--take second exit in Bath, which is HIGH St /
Rt. 209 South
When come to a stop, take left, which crosses you back over Rt. #1--
go to second left, which is Court St.--take a left onto Court
my apt. is about 1/2 block on the left (can park on the street, or
(if driveway is not blocked) can turn left and drive down to lower
parking spaces and park there.
Note: You can find my apartment easily if you watch for the two huge
pine trees--the driveway / walkway to my front door is right between
the two big trees--go up the steps onto the veranda, my door is
furthest to the left.
