As many of you know, I am involved in several quilting groups that make charity quilts. The HGTV Sunshine Group allows members to "hostess" a month by selecting a block pattern and detailed directions on color ways for their chosen charity. The most popular are for in need babies, Project Linus, Quilts of Valor and Heartstrings.
I usually hostess two months each year for Project Linus and I would like to share with your a few of the quilt tops finished up in the past few weeks. PL
loves the brighter colored quilts and you can see I listened! The smaller bonus pinwheel quilt is made with trimmings from the Louisana quilt. Waste not, want not!
The smaller crumb block quilts are actually for wheelchair patients. There are two identical quilts, but only one picture. I have enough crumb blocks to make another quilt at a later date.
