As many of you know, I am a hostess for swaps and FQ Lottery on HGTV website. I am currently having a Kaffe Fassett 6" block swap and will have hundreds and hundreds of these gems to sort, swap and return back to their owners. As most of the KF fabrics are larger prints, many were leery of cutting such small squares for a swap. As you can see, I was able to take a 6" square cut down into a 4 " finished diamond and added 1 1/2" sashing. The finished block measures 12" long and 7" wide at the widest point. Easy to do and similar to the cover quilt on June/July 2010 "QUILT" magazine. Just click on the link below for directions. This would be super for holiday prints or fussy cut centers.
